Nobody at Cursor Makers publishes pet prices. Every number on the value list is built by the trading community from real offers and completed trades, which is why two good lists can disagree. This page explains how the numbers are made and how to use them without getting burned.

Tokens: the unit of account

Traders quote values in tokens, a shared unit that lets a 195-token Helfire Spirit and an 18,000-token Golden Nevermore sit on the same scale. You do not buy tokens here or in the game; they are simply how the market talks. When you offer pets instead of a single item, your side is judged by the token total of everything in it.

The two lists behind this page

game.guide maintains a staff-checked list, updated daily with item pages refreshed every few hours, and it publishes an exist count for every priced pet. tapsimreborn.com recalculates its values daily from offers posted on its live trading board, and adds demand labels plus flags for prices it believes are being manipulated. We publish game.guide's figure as the headline and cross-check it: where the two differ by more than half, the row and the pet page show both numbers and say the lists differ. Honest disagreement between two fresh lists is normal in a market this young; hiding it would help nobody.

Why forms and rarity drive price

Value follows effort and scarcity. A Rainbow form costs many copies and a timed machine session, so it prices far above the Normal pet. Secret pets sit behind tiny hatch odds and a 15,000-hatch pity, and event pets like the Halloween run cannot be hatched again once their event ends, which is why so many of the top values are Secret and limited pets with tiny exist counts. Power matters too, because a strong pet earns its owner more Coins every tap, but rarity and supply usually set the ceiling.

Reading a value like a trader

Treat the listed figure as the centre of a range, not a law. Check demand (Insane demand means buyers compete; Very Low means you may wait), check the exist count trend, and check whether the price is flagged as manipulated. Then confirm with live offers on the trading board before committing anything valuable. Values here are refreshed every Friday after the week's trading settles.
