Grow a Garden 2: getting started
Last updated: November 6, 2026
Grow a Garden 2 is the sequel to Grow a Garden, live since June 12, 2026. You buy seeds, grow crops, sell them by weight, and collect pets that trade between players. This guide covers the loop in the order you will meet it: the seed shop, the harvest, the pets, and the trade.
Step 1: buy seeds from the shop
Everything starts at the seed shop, which restocks on a fixed five minute cycle that is the same on every server. Seeds have a price in coins and a stock chance: common seeds are almost always there, rare ones appear only sometimes. The stock page runs a live countdown to the next restock and lists the rare seeds worth watching, with their published stock chances. Buy what you can afford, plant it, and wait for it to grow.
Step 2: harvest and sell by weight
A crop sells for more the heavier it grows, and the price climbs steeply with weight, not in a straight line. Two crops of the same kind can sell for very different money if one grew bigger. Mutations add another layer: a crop can carry one mutation at a time, and it multiplies the sell price. The crop calculator prices any crop at any weight with every mutation, the friend boost, freshness and the daily deal, showing each step. The seeds and crops database lists every seed price, base sell value and base weight.
Step 3: collect pets
Pets come from three routes: some spawn on the map, some hatch from eggs, and some arrive as guild competition rewards. The pet database lists all 36 released pets with rarity, world, how each one is obtained, and the trade value of every variant: Normal, Big, Mega and Rainbow. Pets that are datamined but not live yet sit on their own unreleased page with no values attached.
Step 4: trade in points
Player trading is live, through the in-game trade system. The game publishes no trade values, so this section prices pets in points: community estimates on one scale anchored on the Game.Guide value list, with derived entries marked est. and their derivation printed. Before you accept any offer, run both sides through the WFL trade calculator to get a Win, Fair or Lose verdict in the same points. The values page lists every entry with its variant, basis and source disagreements.
Step 5: use the tools
Three tools cover the whole loop: the WFL calculator for pet trades, the crop calculator for harvests, and the inventory calculator for totalling everything you own in points. The stock timer keeps you from missing a restock, and the codes page keeps the working codes with their rewards.
One honest note: points are a relative scale, not a currency, and every value here is an estimate that moves with demand. Check the trade in game before you accept it, and never pay Robux or real money for a pet on the strength of a points figure.
Facts checked November 4, 2026 against gag.gg (whose figures are read from the game code), the Game.Guide database and value list, growagarden2.net, questmora and the published guides named across this section; where sources disagree, the disagreement is printed on the page rather than hidden. Trade values are community estimates in points: see how we build these values. eggvalues.com is a fan site and is not affiliated with the game's developers or Roblox Corporation.
