Break and Steal an Egg: getting started
Break and Steal an Egg is a Roblox game by ILGames x Eggs. It looks like its older sibling Steal An Egg, but the work is different: there the eggs grew on timers, here you break them open yourself.
Step 1: pick a zone and break an egg
Each zone stocks two or three egg types, and every egg in a zone shares that zone's pet pool. Eggs are guarded and have health: your pickaxe's power is what breaks them. When the egg cracks, the animal is revealed on the spot. There is no growing and no waiting. Our egg database lists all 38 eggs with their zones and pools.
Step 2: carry it home
A hatched animal is not yours until it is in your base pen. Carry it back past the guard: this is where Speed matters. Your base Speed comes from the treadmill and trails, and richer zones expect more of it. Get caught or too slow and the run was for nothing.
Step 3: pets pay you, every second
Pets in your pen earn cash per second, from small change for a Common up to billions for the top Planet X animals. That income buys the next pickaxe, and the next pickaxe opens the next zone. The pet database ranks all 108 pets by that income (the income index, derived from income), and the income calculator totals what your whole pen earns.
Step 4: climb the pickaxe ladder
There are 20 pickaxes, from the free Wooden Pickaxe to the Enchanted Pickaxe at $200Qa and 250 billion power. The rhythm of the game is: earn, upgrade, push one zone deeper, repeat. The full ladder with costs is on the pickaxe ladder page.
Step 5: merge duplicates, fill the Index
Three of the same pet merge into a heavier, bigger version that earns more, so duplicates are progress. Discovering a pet for the first time also pays an Index discovery reward in cash and Speed. Special systems sit on top of the loop: the Planet X fusion machine crafts a Celestial Fusion Egg from three specific pets, and the Titanic Egg appears on a server countdown as a group break. Event zones like the Halloween areas and the Haunted Graveyard rotate in with their own eggs and pets.
Step 6: the free stuff that is actually free
The Shop has a Community Rewards box: type your username after liking the game and joining the group and it pays out free Speed and the Sabertooth Egg community reward. That is a username box, not a code system; the codes page explains the difference, because it matters for spotting fakes. And a note on gamepasses: as of November 1, 2026, no source documents any gamepass for this game, so there is no gamepass list here. If ILGames adds passes, this section will list them with prices.
Facts checked November 1, 2026 against OP.GG's Break and Steal an Egg database, cross checked against Beebom, Eldorado and the fan wikis (breakstealegg.wiki, breakandstealaneggg.wiki). eggvalues.com is a fan site and is not affiliated with ILGames x Eggs or Roblox Corporation. Break and Steal an Egg has no player trading, so this section publishes no trade values: rankings use an income index derived from income, the $/s the game pays.
